Quitters Unite is funded by Health Canada through the Heart & Stroke Foundation. It's aims to provide youth with information and support to help them quit smoking. We were hired to help create a holistic social media strategy to introduce the service to youth and bring them to the Quitters Unite website.
The Quitters Unite team knew from past experience that contests do very well and help get the message of smoking cessation out to the youth market. We helped the team craft a compelling travelling road show contest, that drove traffic back to the website. We also created an effective social network presence for Quitters Unite, from custom Facebook tabs, to a visually striking Twitter page. We provided technical consulation to connect the creative strategy to a complementary functionality feature-set for the website. We also helped the road show staff embody colorful personas that had a prominent place on the website and blog, driving connectivity between the offline road show contest and the website.
The province wide Quitters Unite contest proved to be very successful with over 500 photo submissions, thousands of votes for the winner and hundreds of story submissions of people sharing their smoking experiences, supporting each other on their journey to quit smoking for good.
We helped EQO achieve visual brand consistency from web, to mobile application.
We helped the Chamber leverage the power of Facebook to demonstrate it's fresh, modern approach to connect local businesses and it's members.
