Central 1 iPhone Banking App
We worked with Central 1 to create an iPhone banking app. Credit Union members across BC now have a quick, easy way to do their banking on the go. The app features innovative features such as "QuickView" enabling members to access account balances without having to log in at all.
We worked with Central 1 to validate and refine business and user goals for the app. The key workflows were further articulated through high-fidelity, clickable wireframes, enabling the team to test and research desired functionality before any technical development needed to be done.
Finally we created a flexible, attractive visual design that can be uniquely branded for each credit union, while keeping the user experience responsive and clutter-free.
The Vancity iPhone app was first out of the gates, launched on December 7, 2011 and received over 85% 5 out of 5 star ratings in the iTunes store becoming one of the top downloaded finance apps, all within the first two weeks of launch.
The overwhelming success of the iPhone app and an Android app is on it's way, we are proud to have helped bring the ease of online banking to our fellow credit union members!
