Layer 7
Layer 7 provides security and goverance, helping organizations control how they expose their data and applications. We worked with Layer 7 to help them communicate their value by creating an effective corporate website that connected their invisible offering to compelling visual metaphors and rich photography.
The Layer 7 corporate website needed to be attractive, and yet leave adequate real estate for deep, encyclopedic content that would help the company be able to communicate with it's largely technical audience. Visual design needed to be both understated, but also create an effective identity for the company.
We selected metaphoric images that communicate concepts such as "cloud", "security", "connectivity" and provide color to text heavy pages. Contextual navigation provides the reader with the depth they seek, and allow Layer 7 to showcase their expertise.
The new corporate website helps Layer 7 be able to keep their content fresh and relevant. It features a rich content management system and easy ways for non-technical staff to maintain the website without help. We continue to work with the marketing team, to help them visualize future growth for the website, and continue to achieve the success they have seen in online analytics since launch. The website's built in CRM tools, which help Layer 7 track and convert it's audience from passive researchers to active sales contacts.
